Specialty and Scleral Contact Lenses
Dr. Ryan Cazares specializes in fitting a wide range of specialty contact lenses including scleral contact lenses, orthokeratology (Ortho K) contact lenses, rigid gas permeable contact lenses, and multifocal contact lenses.
With over 10 years of experience treating irregular cornea conditions, our doctors utilize advanced topography imaging to prescribe the best-fitting contact lenses for your most complex eye needs.
Specialty and Scleral Contact Lenses
Scleral contact lenses are designed to rest on the white outer layer of the eye, rather than the cornea. This form of vision correction is used for keratoconus, corneal transplants, post-refractive surgery irregularities (LASIK, RK, etc.), corneal scarring, and severe dry eye.
Myopia Control
Myopia control helps prevent the progression of nearsightedness in children. Treatments include temporarily reshaping the cornea with Orthokeratology lenses, redirecting light with MiSight lenses, eye dilation with Atropine therapy, and vision correction with prescription bifocal glasses.
Keratoconus
Keratoconus is a progressive eye condition that causes the cornea to have an irregular shape, which can lead to vision impairment and worsening eyesight over time. With the use of specialty lenses, we can ensure the utmost comfort and visual acuity for your eyes.
As your full-scope Optometrists, we’re here to keep your vision clear.
